Apple Releases iOS 9 Upgrade For iPhone, iPad
Developers should have whitelisting options on their apps, while publishers and advertisers should find new ways to advertise to their audience.

Advertising is a way for independent publishers on the web to make a living.
This is similar to the Google Chrome extension, AdBlock, that blocks all display ads (including Facebook and Youtube ads as well) and claims to have over 200 million users worldwide.
Programmer Marco Arment removed the Peace app after it spent more than a day as the most downloaded paid application at Apple’s online shop. If the installed content blockers include their own settings, you’ll have to hop into their accompanying app to change those.
The reaction to the ad blockers has been predictable for the most part.
Who knows? Maybe we’ll see ads in text copy within stories that don’t get blocked. That begs another question: Did (or would) Ghostery oppose Peace not because of its indiscriminate ad-blocking, but because it imperiled Ghostery’s business? But ad blockers could cost the industry $21.8 billion in lost revenue this year alone, according to one highly cited report (which is questionable). Now, software to block ads on these gadgets has arrived -and the harsh realities of the practice are causing second thoughts.

The iOS release is a chance for publishers to remind their viewers of this delicate balance, though some aren’t so delicate about it. The company would probably love to kill ad blockers, but it would be impossible to do that without a massive public backlash.
But respondents also said ads were just not the best way to reach them.

The issue here is that the victims of this dilemma are always the end users.
After all the hype, Apple has finally rolled out the latest version of its operating system iOS 9 in India. Of course, the iPhone only suggests you turn on Low Power mode when you get to 20 per cent battery life. The phone also won’t check for new mail or update content for apps in the background as often in that mode. These apps, which you typically have to pay for, are already topping the charts.
