Apple rolls out fifth beta version of macOS Sierra to developers
Just like the developer oriented release we urge public testers to update their devices right away to the latest public beta build. If not, you can download it directly from the Apple Developer Center.

However, the release pattern for betas boosted up as the tech giant approaches a final public launch of its next-generation software. The iOS 10 beta 5 download is available on both sides. Developer beta 5 sees some major bug fixes on the main applications like iMessage and Phone, besides some functionality issues fixed on the Wallet app, the App Store, and compatibility with the new Apple TV.
We said it’s unexpected because we don’t remember last time when Apple released a Public Beta a few hours after a Developer Beta, so this can only mean that the job on the upcoming operating system is nearly over. The fourth betas of the software arrived just last Monday, making this turnaround a lot faster compared to the two week gap that came after the third betas, based on the report of Apple Insider. In some ways, it’s like the Windows Insider program although Apple’s model may not be an ongoing process.
While the first few betas were buggy, as expected, Apple has been polishing up the code and fixing the broken bits with every subsequent beta release.
In addition to the obvious name change, the big deal with Apple’s upcoming MacOS 10.12 is that it will finally bring Siri to the Mac.
At any time during the public beta period, you can revert to the latest version of iOS 9.3.x if you’re not happy with it. There, you’ll find the new build ready to install.
