Apple’s first Android app, Move to iOS, is now available to download
I have to give Apple credit for doing this, it’s a rather bold gesture. Apple announced in June that its Apple Music app will be available on Android sometime this Fall.
“When you choose to migrate your data, your new iPhone or iPad will create a private Wi-Fi network and find your nearby Android device running Move to iOS“, the app’s copy read. That last bit won’t be a problem if you’re using Chrome as your main browser though, because you can simply download Chrome to the iOS device and log in with your Google account where all your bookmarks will be saved anyway. The event harnessed new releases, upgrades and several announcements, which will be launched soon. iOS 9 was one of the major announcements, which is expected to be released tomorrow. iOS 9 is Apple’s latest update to its operating system that will have support for iPhone, iPad and the iPod Touch. “Enjoy.” Move to iOS is supported on all phones and tablets running Android 4.0 and later. Will you guys be making a shift from your Android device to the iPhone?
Apple seems to have made it about as simple as possible for Android users to make the jump over to iOS.
Using Move to iOS also helps users transfer over their apps to rebuild their app libraries. “There are users who do not have a smartphone yet and users who have an Android phone“.
You can now download Send for Android for free via Google Play Store.
NewToBikes: “Are you surprised?”
JacksonCoulter: “Really disappointed in the reviews”. One of the biggest headaches associated with switching phones is having to transfer data, and the new app makes it pretty easy to do so.
And then Microsoft Send appears in the Play Store. Apple’s still working on Apple Music for Google’s mobile OS, but today the company has delivered a product meant to help pull people away from Android. Other content, such as apps available on both platforms, are placed in a wish list within iTunes.
By any chance if Android users have any trouble regarding the transfer process, they can visit their nearest Apple Retail Store where Apple’s Specialist team will guide them.
