Apple schedules product event for September 9
In trademark enigmatic style, the emailed invitations provided little more than the time and place of the event. The iPhone 6s duo is expected to feature its fair share of upgrades and changes given for a S lineup of devices and today you can confirm some previously rumored about features about the device. The event will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in downtown San Francisco.
Much of what Apple will announce has already leaked, so don’t expect too many surprises. Apple unveiled the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus a year ago on the same date, and for the past three years, Apple has made phone announcements in early to mid September.
Apple included in the invite the information that Siri might be helpful in finding out about the event.
Last but not least is the rumour that Apple will release a new Rose Gold colour variant of the iPhone, bringing it in line with the colour options for the Apple Watch Edition.
Our source, who wished to remain anonymous due to the extreme privacy surrounding the event, has shown us documentation from event logistics indicating that Apple is renting the building through September 12th. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has just emailed major media outlets to invite them to an event on September 9 at 10 a.m. Pacific.
Further additions set to be bestowed on the expected Samsung Galaxy S6 andLG G4 rival include an Apple Watch-echoing Force Touch display and a new, pink color scheme.
New talks revealed that there will be no pink iPhone 6s color. Paczkowski also forecasted that the new Apple TV box with Siri would be one of the key products to be introduced and by Apple’s invitation graphic as noted above, it’s clear that it will be.
