Apple Seeds First Beta of iOS 9.2.1 to Developers
Earlier today, December 16, Apple started seeding the first Beta build of the first maintenance release of the iOS 9.2 mobile operating system to developers enrolled in the Apple Developer program. It can be downloaded now through Apple’s Developer Center.
With the official version of the iOS 9.2 finally out for the public to experience, it is only reasonable that a jailbreak version is being prepped for release by Pangu and TaiG. We assume a public beta for the firmware will soon be available for public beta testers. Apple has been upgrading the iOS 9 to barricade the jailbreak tool that was created by Pangu called “Pangu 9”.
Apple has not revealed what is included in the iOS 9.2.1 beta, but it most likely contains bug fixes for the device management issue. These, before being displayed, are curated by Apple’s News editors and several updates arrive to the users each day, according to the article. We’ll let you know if we find anything of major note. When users install an app on version 9.2, some may not complete the installation process.
According to 9To5Mac, the iOS 9.2.1 beta is now ready to be tested for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The update is build 13D11 and is available to the same devices that can run iOS 9.
Some developers are complaining that they are encountering some problems that plagued the 9.2.1, so you better check a myriad of sources for feedback before installing the update.
