Apple to Debut New iPhones, iPads, and Apple TV on September 9
Sources told BuzzFeed that Apple will most likely hold the event the week of September 7, aiming for a September 9 announcement date.
Besides the iPhone 6s phones, Apple is also expected to unveil its new iPads on the same date – a change for the company which normally introduces them in October in past years.
Aside from the iPhone, Apple might also unveil a 12.9-inch “Pro” model of the iPad.
As for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, the updated handsets are expected to have pressure-sensitive Force Touch displays.
With its launch of iPhone 6, Apple managed to break all the previous records for sales of its iPhone devices.
According to the unnamed sources, Apple has now picked up the date to release their latest devices and it will possibly land on September 2015. Perhaps more in hope than expectation, a range of Apple-watchers have been predicting that the company will supplement its iPhone range with a high-spec four-inch-screen iPhone mini. Showing them off on September 9 would give Apple a bit over a week to build hype for pre-orders, inevitably leading to yet another record-breaking iPhone launch.
However, it’s not just the iPhone getting spruced up as Apple TV could also be getting a refresh.
Among the other new features of the iPhone could come a battery boost, along with an upgraded RAM and camera features.
BuzzFeed News previously reported that a newer version of the Apple TV set-top box will probably be coming out this fall.
The wait for the next set of iPhones is nearly over; a report Friday said Apple plans to announce its new smartphones along with a revamped Apple TV on September 9.
Some less substantiated rumors include a third iPhone, an update to the 5c, and different color options, but those features aren’t being talked about as much. The technology was first used on the recent Apple Watch.
According to Paczkowski, we’ll also see some new iPads and the long-awaited new Apple TV.
This line was included in BuzzFeed’s newest article on Apple, in which John Paczkowski reveals Apple’s possible plan to reveal their new devices at their annual conference.
