Apple to release new 10.5-inch iPad as soon as April
The wording makes it unclear if the theater will be ready for Apple Park’s grand opening, and thus ready for an event. Furthermore, in terms of display, the iPad Pro 2 could have thinner bezels and provide the user with more screen area. The 9.7in iPad Pro is fantastic, but a tad too expensive for most, at a hefty £499. Apple’s 13.1 million iPad unit sales fell 19% compared to the prior year. Fiksu discovered four distinct signals last time as well, and Apple ended up launching just two new iPad iterations. Secondly, the company could hold an event later than expected. All iPad Pro models are expected to come with an upgraded Apple Pencil as well as a keyboard accessory. Consumers can expect the 10.5 inch to be available only in the second half of 2017.
Meanwhile, mobile marketing firm Fiksu (via TechCrunch) claims that it it has discovered that new iPads being tested out around San Francisco and Cupertino. All of them also were running unreleased versions of iOS-either iOS 10.3 or iOS 11, according to TechCrunch.
However, Apple has yet to summon the press – not that INQ would know any different – which means if the rumour is legit, invites would be sent at shorter notice than usual. If the reports are to be believed, Apple could take the event to announce a 128GB variant of the iPhone SE along with new Red color variants of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
