Apple to remove 3D Touch from 2019 iPhone models according to reports
Don’t expect Apple Pencil support on the new iPhone, and don’t be surprised if 3D Touch gets axed next year, at least according to the latest analyst predictions of upcoming hardware changes.

The iPhone X, which starts at US$999, helped drive the average selling price of Apple’s handsets to more than US$700 in the June quarter 2018, up from US$600 a year earlier.
-A third iPhone, with a 6.1-inch screen, is expected to have a lower price than the other two, in the $800 range, and a lower resolution, LCD screen.
A new batch of iPhones is likely to be unwrapped by Cupertino-based corporation Apple in the second week of September.
But there will still be changes in the iPhone lineup, including a larger version of the iPhone X dubbed the XS, and a new less-expensive iPhone that has numerous features associated with the iPhone X. Expect to see the new iPhones introduced during the second week of September, probably on Sept. 12.
What would particularly be of interest to consumers in the developing world is the possibility that Apple may offer dual-SIM versions of some phones in select markets. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman writes that, with the new iPhones, Apple is not hoping for blockbusters that win large numbers of new customers.
Apple hasn’t announced any new devices, and we still don’t know what they will eventually be called.
As previously reported, commentators predict Apple will use the event to release a “Pro” iPad, new AirPods, AirPower wireless charger and new Apple Watch.

It will also launch a 5.8-inch model, the same size as the current iPhone X, along with a more affordable model with a 6.1-inch screen, Bloomberg said. All will use the gesture system introduced previous year for the iPhone X.
