Apple TV specs leaked ahead of next week’s reveal
In iPhone 6’s case, Apple announced the new phone’s measurements to third-party accessory makers before its release.
The iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus reportedly will feature a pressure-sensitive Force Touch display and a sturdier aluminum alloy frame.
The screen size for both the smartphones is going to remain unchanged this year, and except few unnoticeable differences in the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus everything is going to be same. The Apple Watch has also helped reduce the market share of traditional watches by 14 percent and on the way, snatching 20 percent of the wearable’s market share in the process. “If this forecast proves accurate, it would mark the first ever year-over-year decline in iPhone shipments”. A wide spread rumor had it that Apple was most likely bring this feature to its upcoming iOS 9 device.
6S Marketing has also tagged its billboards with a campaign hashtag, #WeAre6S, which it says it uses to “highlight our unique and fun company culture”. It is still unsure whether the iPads’ launch will push through on September 9 or will come out in a separate event on October or early November.
One thing that will not change, according to Apple website 9to5Mac, is the price and storage capacity of the new iPhones. That could mean we’re about to see a lot more icons on the Apple TV’s grid interface.
As far as the release date of the iPhone 6S, look for it on September 25, thanks to a leak reported on Pocket-Lint.
Siri voice control, which is trailed on the invitation as a key theme for next week’s Apple event, will also be deeply embedded in the new Apple TV experience. You’ll supposedly be able to tell Siri you want to find a movie or TV show, and it will return results across multiple platforms – Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, HBOGo, etc. Fiksu also confirmed that the web traffic logs only saw two new devices instead of three. The event will take place at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, a much-bigger venue than usual, suggesting that Apple thinks it is unveiling something really special. As always, Cult of Mac will be on hand to provide live blogging of all the day’s action, so stay tuned for an avalanche of new Apple products and news next week.
