Apple Updates iWork Apps On All Platforms With Major New Features
The fact that the updated apps are key components in the company’s iWork – a productivity suite, and with the help of the new feature incorporated in the operating systems the apps will be far more useful and efficient.
Other notable tweaks and improvements in Apple’s refreshed iWork apps include VoiceOver support for navigating Pages, Keynote and Numbers for iOS and OS X by talking to your device; Handoff support for switching between iOS and OS X when working on an iWork document; and improved compatibility with Microsoft’s Office applications.
Split View, Slide Over and picture in picture are also available on the updated apps, as Apple looks to improve its work offering for iOS users.
Keyboard improvements – The iWork apps can now also take advantage of the new shortcut bar in iOS 9 as well as shortcuts on wireless keyboards, letting you cut, paste, and copy with the best of them.
APPLE HAS UPDATED its iWork suite for iOS and OS X, bringing support for 3D Touch and Split View multitasking to the Pages, Numbers and Keynote applications.
Getting your Pages docs from here to there is even easier now. Also, these apps are supported by 3D Touch on the iPhone.
On the desktop, you can Force Click an image and get haptic feedback as you edit for Pages and Keynote.
There are also new Force Touch gestures in each of the apps, which work with the new Force Touch Magic Trackpad and the trackpad in the Retina MacBook Pro and the 12-inch MacBook.
Although the apps are being updated nearly a month after the release of the latest iOS 9, no doubt that Apple has made its users wait too long for the update, but was it really worth it?
