Second, the number of Apple retails stores participating in the promotion is fairly limited. It may offer a few small markdowns for students, corporate customers, Japanese “lucky bag” promotions, and Black Friday shoppers, but the company usually doesn’t offer deals outside of those rare instances.

The quarterly revenue of $51.5 billion and quarterly net profit of $11.1 billion is something to cheer about and $1.96 per diluted share being the share price.

One particularly interesting note from Maestri on Apple’s enterprise business was related to the value IBM specifically says it is creating with its mass transition to Macs. That’s outpacing Apple’s overall corporate revenue growth significantly.

Without disclosing any specific details, Apple mentioned that sales of Apple Watch increased considerably form the last quarter and exceeded internal expectations.
