Apprentice star Stuart ‘The Brand’ Baggs ‘died of asthma’
A statement from Isle of Man constabulary said Baggs died of natural causes as a result of his asthma.
Stuart, best known for starring on The Apprentice, was found dead at his home on the Isle of Man on 30 July.
At 21 years old, he was the youngest ever contestant to appear on the BBC show and said that he started his business career in the playground, selling yo-yos.
The newspaper’s article goes on to state that Stuart had suffered from asthma for a number of years, and though we would assume he believed his condition was under control, evidently the rapidity with which a sufferer can deteriorate during an attack would perhaps have meant he was unable to summon help.
“We extend our thoughts to the family at this sad time and on their behalf I would request that they are now left in peace to grieve”.
The post-mortem following his “sudden and unexpected” death was carried out last week, with police saying there were no suspicious circumstances.
The businessman was discovered at his home on the Isle of Man last week.
She stressed the importance of people with asthma recognising the early warning signs and knowing what to do should symptoms get worse.
He was knocked out at the interview stage of the sixth series, which was won by Stella English.
Police have revealed the cause of death of the former Apprentice star Stuart Baggs.
“Our thoughts are with Stuart Baggs’ family and friends at such a heart-breaking time”. Interviewed him on You’re Fired and he was amusing and self-effacing.
The 27-year-old entrepreneur was the managing director of BlueWave Communications Ltd, and launched a 4G hub to bring the technology to the Isle of Man just days before his passing. “Anyone concerned about their asthma can call the Asthma UK helpline on 0300 222 5800 to speak to a specialist asthma nurse or visit www.asthma.org.uk for more information”.
