Apprentice star Stuart ‘The Brand’ Baggs found dead
The former Apprentice star was found dead in his apartment in the Isle of Man after celebrating his birthday just one week befor.e.
Mr Baggs, who was known as The Brand during his time on the show, was discovered at a property in Douglas on Thursday morning.
Stuart shot to fame when he took part in the 2010 series of Alan Sugar’s competition, entertaining fans with unique and confident catchphrases such as “everything I touch turns to sold”.
He made a name for himself after declaring that he was, “Stuart Baggs, the brand”.
A police spokesman told the BBC that the cause of his death was as yet “unknown” but it was not being treated as suspicious.
They said in a statement: “Following the earlier information provided by the police regarding the discovery of a body at an address in Douglas, police can now confirm that the man is Stuart Mark Alden Baggs, 27 years of age”.
Police said the death will be fully investigated on behalf of the Coroner.
“Bad news, Stuart Baggs has died”, Sugar tweeted.
It comes just days after his company, BlueWave Communications, launched a new product, which he claimed would “shake up telecommunications” on the Island. “My honest condolances to his family and friends RIP one of the stand out characters of the apprentice(sic)”.
