Ariana Grande is really sorry for licking doughnuts and saying she hates

A bakery’s surveillance video recorded her acting like a total brat, making out with her boyfriend (who is on her payroll as a backup dancer) and then ostensibly trying to impress her fawning entourage with the utterly revolting act of licking a tray of donuts that had been left on a bakery counter.

Grande has released a statement apologizing for what she said, insisting she merely wanted to comment on America’s obesity problems – and it came across all wrong. She said “The fact that the United States has one of the highest child obesity rates in the world frustrates me”.

Grande, whose dance pop has rarely been political, called for greater awareness “about the dangers of overeating and the poison that we put into our bodies”.

During the most recent routine inspection of Wolfee Donuts in January, the store received a score of 90, the lowest possible score to receive an A grade, and was cited for multiple violations including food obtained from unapproved sources and food not separated and protected from contamination, according to the report issued by the Department of Environmental Health. She promised that she will work towards becoming a better role model “with her new responsibility to others as a public figure”.

Now, police are investigating after security footage showed singer Ariana Grande appearing to “maliciously lick” a donut in a Los Angeles shop, according to media reports.

Earlier Wednesday, Grande said in a statement to the AP that she’s a proud American.

The doughnut shop manager, Ricky Marin, said that the doughnuts sold out that same night, so there is a possibility that someone ate the doughnuts that Grande and her friend licked. It was all Grande’s fault but the incident that a tray of donuts left on the counter is considered a hazard.

As for why I cannot be at the Major League Baseball show, I have had emergency oral surgery and due to recovery I cannot attend the show. She said it had nothing to do with the leaked video.
