Ariana Grande talks ‘excruciating feeling’ of disappointing fans over doughnut
Grande issued two separate apologies after video of the incident was released online, but neither of the apologies specifically addressed the doughnut-licking.

Grande was on “The Tonight Show” promoting TV horror comedy “Scream Queens,” which premieres September 22 on FOX and on which she guest stars.
Ariana further explained how we have to learn from mistakes, saying “that’s how we grow”.
Grande created headlines when she wandered into Wolfee Donuts in Lake Elsinore, California with her boy toy Ricky Alvarez during the summer and appeared to lick and slobber on a tray of doughnuts wrongly displayed on top of the counter. “It’s like making a song”, she said of crafting a scent. “I hate Americans. I hate America”. Ariana was in full PR force, putting on her sweetest smile and breathy voice, when addressing the fact that she publicly declared we’re all fat and lazy and love donuts too much.
When questioned about what she has learned from the situation, Grande revealed that she has realized that it is an “excruciating feeling” to disappoint “people who love and believe in you”.

The singer is also now being accused of scamming fans who are paying $495-695 for her meet and greet package as part of her Honeymoon tour. The owner of the donut shop did not press charges, as we reported.
Whilst on the show, Ariana promoted her debut women’s fragrance Ari and announced that her new single “Focus” from her forthcoming third studio album will be released on October 30.
