Arizona Cardinals at Philadelphia Eagles
The Sunday Night Football matchup is a good one this week, as the Eagles will host the Cardinals at 8:30PM ET with playoff implications on the line for both teams.
Rowe left the game in the first half, and James Palmer of NFL Network confirmed the cornerback suffered a concussion.
The Cardinals seemed to avoid a couple of major injuries to running back David Johnson and quarterback Carson Palmer. Of his 105 career touchdowns including playoffs, 11 have come against the Eagles.
The Cardinals played ran down the field for a touchdown on their first drive of the game but struggled to get back in the end zone until four minutes remained in the first half.
Deone Bucannon returned Sam Bradford’s interception 39 yards for a touchdown to give Arizona a 37-10 lead early in the fourth quarter, sending fans to the exits.
The Cardinals (12-2) will earn a first-round bye with a win over Green Bay next week. But he returned to toss a 16-yard TD pass to John Brown and finished 20 of 32 for 274 yards. One of those interceptions was made by safety Tyrann Mathieu. The Cardinals wrap up their road portion of their schedule going 7-1.
The Eagles now trail 17-10 at the half. Palmer threw two other would-be TDs that Brown dropped. With starting cornerback Nolan Carroll already lost for the season to an injury, the Eagles also watched his replacement – rookie Eric Rowe – leave in the first half with a head injury.
