Arizona State Students Prank University of Arizona Newspaper, Suggest Giving

This year, ASU needs a win just to become bowl eligible.

But it was coach Todd Graham’s comments after the win that still have me scratching my head. The Sun Devils are only marginally better, allowing 422.4 yards and 30.7 points. With two explosive offenses playing in a rivalry game, the lack of defense could lead to a few offensive fireworks in the desert.

Arizona (6-6, 3-6) managed to claw its way back within a touchdown, but freshman Kareem Orr returned an interception 21 yards for a touchdown and senior Lloyd Carrington put the stake in the Territorial Cup, returning another 38 yards for a score on the next series. If that wasn’t great enough already, their school paper The Daily Wildcat fell for the prank and published a news article about it in the school’s paper, which Campus Rush saved a cached version, before the newspaper found out they were bamboozled and removed it.
