Arrow and The Flash: new image teases 2015 crossover episodes

Theres Team Arrow, consisting of Oliver as Green Arrow, Thea as Speedy, Laurel as Black Canary and Diggle as Guy Who Doesnt Have A Codename. So how can the two CW series top themselves this year?

DC Comics’ “Legends of Tomorrow” premieres mid-season on the CW in 2016.

Given that the image was shared by Marc Guggenheim on Twitter – and that Guggenheim is the executive producer on Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow but doesn’t work on The Flash – it’s probably reasonable to assume the image comes from an upcoming episode of Arrow.

In addition to Hawkman and Hawkgirl, the “Legends” team will include Firestorm – the duo Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jay Jackson (Franz Drameh), The Atom (Brandon Routh), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and the time-traveling Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill). There’s only three weeks to go until the superhero mash-up episodes hit the air, kicking off with The Flash episode on Tuesday, followed by the Arrow crossover on Wednesday. Team Arrow and Flash wont be going along for the ride, as they have enough on their plate with Damien Darhk and Zoom, respectively, this season.

Just as we had a year ago, we’re getting a crossover episode of The Flash and Arrow this coming Thanksgiving, but this time the show will also serve as a platform for the introduction of The Legends of Tomorrow.
