Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: ‘Tottenham Hotspur may have to sell Harry Kane’
Arsenal’s away form this term has been putrid and is a large part of the reason they find themselves so far down the league.
“But I would like to say to all the Arsenal lovers, take care of the values of the club”.
Wagner made a series of shrewd and quality signings ahead of his second complete campaign, and first in the Premier League, including Jonas Lossl and Zanka who have slotted in seamlessly.
And yet Wenger said that was when he did his finest work, when taken into account the financial restrictions he was working under after the move from Highbury to the Emirates Stadium.
The Frenchman has guided Arsenal through a fair share of changes throughout his nearly 22-year reign in north London and believes that a European super league will be the next major development.
“A domestic league will certainly play Tuesday-Wednesday”.
“I am so happy that we are able to host his last Premier League game”, Wagner told The Yorkshire Post, “and that we are able to really give Arsene Wenger all the attention that he deserves”. We had to pay back the debt and had to face the competition where clubs have even more resources than they usually have.
“I don’t know if this needs rules”, he said, “but something has to change”.
Allegri has won three Serie A titles during his time at Juventus and has also guided the club to two Champions League finals, losing out to Barcelona in 2015 and Real Madrid in 2017.
“Today the skill factor is better in the younger players and they are better prepared physically”.
“I think like always we will have to discuss a lot of things, not only transfers but as well as the facilities”. “Wenger held out his hand to give myself and all the other mascots a high-five and an enormous sense of pride rushed through me. There are so many unpredictable elements in football”.
This time, there were no questions about injuries or his potential line-up; instead, we got 25 minutes of Wenger talking about his impending departure, his future and, of course, his life and time as manager of the club.
“So for sure, I will improve and I have to improve”. And he will never compromise his principles on attacking play.
One of the more notable occasions from recent history was when Wenger was forced to sell Robin van Persie to Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United side. “Oh, a 6-5 victory, that would do”, he said.
