Arsenal submit €57m bid for Real Madrid’ Karim Benzema

Most Arsenal fans would like to make an addition in midfield this summer; Francis Coquelin was effective last season and Mikel Arteta for the last few before that, but both have question marks that could be eliminated by a top-level holding midfield addition.
In a particularly inactive summer session, Arsenal have yet to find the star forward and defensive back that many believe would vault them to the top of the Premier League.
