“The choice tomorrow couldn’t be any clearer”, said Springsteen.
Clinton flew back to NY to meet with close friends and supporters before officially ending her campaign stretch. “So if you believe America thrives when the middle class thrives, then you have to vote…”
A short while later, in Raleigh, N.C., Lady Gaga spoke, telling the crowd of Clinton, “No matter how absurd and mean he became, she smiled bravely”, she said. He and Michelle Obama will appear together, alongside Hillary, Bill and Chelsea Clinton.
“Today is our Independence Day”, Mr Trump declared at a rally in Grand, Rapids Michigan in the early hours of Tuesday.
Former President Bill Clinton is seen standing in the aisle, smiling and apparently holding a conversation, while Hillary stares at Bon Jovi, who holds a guitar as if he were about to play. That the vision she holds is essential for America and that she’ll continue to improve upon our country. Clinton recounted her experiences during the televised Presidential debates against Trump.
A slew of prominent artists have performed to back Clinton during her campaign including Beyonce, Jay Z, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams and Stevie Wonder.
A star-studded event to cap off one of the most divisive presidential campaigns in living memory. Of her time in the White House, Obama continued, “Thank you for your love”.
First lady Michelle Obama, who has been out on the campaign trail the past few weeks vouching for Clinton, struck a nostalgic tone.
Trump meanwhile relied on musician Ted Nugent to warm the crowd at his rally on Monday – even though he has criticized Clinton in the past for bringing celebrities to her own events.
Nugent, who has previously called for the death of Clinton and Obama, grabbed his crotch on stage and quipped, “I’ve got your blue state right here, black and blue”, referring to the colour associated with the Democratic Party.
“Between now and the time the polls close tomorrow, we are going to be “livin” on a prayer”, she said.
“We’ve been traveling across the country to try and meet as many people as possible but it’s great to have them by my side tonight”.
