As crunch time nears, the reserved Jeb Bush flashes emotions
“Really good. Jeb’s numbers, not so good”. In the front of that race is Donald Trump, and Bush has ramped up his strategy to become the anti-Trump candidate in hopes that voters who feel disenfranchised by the front-runner will coalesce around Bush instead. “If he engages, and Trump comes after 43?”
The Iowa caucuses are February 1; the New Hampshire primary follows a week later on February 9.
Bush said leadership requires “someone who has a completely different approach, someone who has a servant’s heart, someone who doesn’t think it’s about them, someone who has a proven record, someone who knows what he doesn’t know”.

Ted Cruz of Texas and at least two other GOP candidates, according to the latest polls available. Marco Rubio and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson. She continued, amidst Bush’s claims that “facts are facts”. “You got to take on the bully head on and that’s what I’m doing”. “There’s no margin of error”.

“I’m learning towards Donald Trump”, he said, before he added in a non-confrontational tone: “And I was just wondering, why you think he’s a jerk?” Dawson’s clearly hoping that will rouse the ex-president from his political somnolence. “Well, he’s – this is a family of despots that murder people in their own regime”, said Bush. “They’re loyal and competitive”.
