Nashville government email addresses that have shown up extramarital website have drawn “concern” from Metro’s top IT official, but there are other everyday worries more important.

Hackers this week released detailed records on millions of people registered with the website one month after the break-in at Avid Life Media.
It’s unclear how Impact Team secured the data. When we asked people on the street to guess how numerous sites users were in Monroe they guessed anywhere from twelve to thousands.
An Avid Life Media statement refers to the incident as an “attack”.
In fact, the site has said little beyond a statement released Tuesday in which it slammed the break-in as “an act of criminality”.
Why did they do it?
A New Zealand private investigator has warned that married users who were actively accessing the Ashley Madison website will be “shaking in their boots”.
“I just want to know very simply, is my data secure?” said IT expert Jim Salter. “Have an affair.” The website claims to have almost 39 million customers.
So who are the folks tied to those email address?
There are 234 unique gov.au domains.
Already, public figures like reality star Josh Duggar are fessing up to cheating on their spouses.
How could it impact people?
“People don’t need to sign on, but we’re interested in hearing from plaintiffs who may act as representative plaintiffs from across the country”, he said.
Still, logging onto a site like Ashley Madison and using a government-issued email likely violates web policies at most municipalities in South Florida.
“Phone hasn’t stopped since the data dump two days ago”, said Toronto-based lawyer Ted Charney.
“It looked like they attempted to send about 1,500 or 2,000 [messages] through my service”, Romero told CNNMoney. “And I did nothing wrong”. At least one member of the Irish parliament, it said, “was seeking legal advice after being informed that he is allegedly listed”.
Adultery is considered a chargeable offence under U.S. military regulations but not under Canadian law.
The ongoing fallout of the Ashley Madison data breach has highlighted the pitfalls of using work email addresses for personal use.
