The new games are actually side-scrolling 2.5D platformers released by Ubisoft, and were originally released as a downloadable content for “Assassin’s Creed: Unity”, IGN reported.
All swords and hidden blades can be unsheathed collectively, however, because Ubisoft has announced that there will be an Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy Pack available for download in addition to a hard copy version available in stores on February 9th as well.
The “Assassin’s Creed Chronicles” games can be bought either individually or as a bundle pack. The DLC is set 20 years after the main game.
Ubisoft is also set to offer “Assassin’s Creed Chronicles” in different platforms such as on mobile, PS4, PC and Xbox One. Gamers will take on the role of killing machine Arbaaz Mir from the Assassin’s Creed: Brahman comics, in order to retrieve a stolen Assassin artifact from the Templars in 1841. His simple save mission turns into something bigger as he is caught in a battle between Assassins and Templars over an ancient artifact. The game, together with “Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India” will be coming out in 2016. The PS Vita version will be launched on April 5, next year with the whole trilogy.
