‘Assassin’s Creed’ Movie News and Cast Updates: Ariane Labed to Play

For now, it’s not clear what the concept of the new “Assassin’s Creed” comic will be, nor have there been any official statements regarding how strongly the comics will tie in to the video games. It has since gone on to reach into numerous homes via various gaming platforms and generate it on history and weave its own impressive lore. Ubisoft even made and published a pair of “Assassin’s Creed” graphic novels under the company’s UbiWorkshop label called “Assassin’s Creed: The Chain” in 2012 and “Assassin’s Creed: Brahman” in 2014. Now Titan Comics and Ubisoft will join forces to branch out further.

“We’re so excited to be working with Ubisoft on this fantastic new adventure”, Titan Comics editor Lizzie Kaye said. We’re really hoping to surprise readers with the direction for this new series.

First five-part arc will be illustrated by Neil Edwards, the artist behind Doctor Who: Four Doctors.

Alicia Vikander was due to appear in Assassin’s Creed as well as The Circle, but the Ex Machina actress decided to pass on both movies due to scheduling difficulties, meaning Assassin’s Creed needed to search for a replacement.

Assassin’s Creed tells the story of Desmond Miles, who was captured by a secret organization with ties to the Knight Templar and sent back in time to get historical artifacts. Not only are they visually stunning, but the actual story is captivating.
