Astronaut at the global Space Station captures images of Indo-Pak border
The global Space Station Program supports the laboratory as part of the ISS National Lab to help astronauts take pictures of Earth that will be of the greatest value to scientists and the public, and to make those images freely available on the Internet.
The world’s premier space agency NASA on Monday released a stunning image which showed us how the global border between India and Pakistan would look like at night from space.
The winding border between Pakistan and India could be seen lit by safety lights which have a definite orange tone.
An astronaut took the photograph showing the Indo-Pakistan border at night.
The lush vegetation of the valley contrasts sharply with the arid terrain that surrounds it, with the bright lights of the major Pakistan city Karachi clearly shown at the bottom left corner of the image.
The image, posted on NASA’s official Facebook page Sunday, was taken on September 23 with a 16 mm lens, which provides the wide field of view. City lights and the darkish color of dense agriculture intently monitor with the good curves of the Indus valley.
