Asus launches 3G-powered ZenFone Go at Rs 5299 in India
Asus ZenFone Go 4.5 smartphone was launched in December 2015. Priced at Rs. 5, 299, the device is exclusively available online via giant E-commerce portal Flipkart.
Coming to the specification details, the Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display.
ZenFone Go is equipped with a powerful 1.3Ghz MediaTek Quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM that enables multi-tasking with lag-free performance. It will also be available through Asus Exclusive Stores and other offline stores across the country from the second week of January 2016.
The device packs a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3 Megapixel front camera. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under Zen UI 2.0. The device comes with 8GB internal storage and offers microSD card support of up to 64GB in addition to a 5GB lifetime Asus web storage. Other connectivity options on the device include support for 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi802.
After launching the Zenfone Go few months back, Asus has today launched a budget variant, called the Zenfone Go (ZC451TG).
“We are elated at the response through the year for our ZenFone range of smartphones and are sure that this budget smartphone will be appreciated by our users as well”, said Peter Chang, regional head (South Asia), ASUS India. Besides, there is a 1,600mAh polymer battery. The company claims that the smartphone has the capability to deliver 10.9 hours of talk time and 355 hours of standby time on 3G network.
