Asus ZenFone 2 Variant With 4GB RAM, 16GB Inbuilt Storage Launched
While its hefty 4 GB of RAM was previously restricted to the higher-capacity models, ASUS is now offering a 16 GB model with the larger memory option for $229.
In fact, it is on that aspect that it is better than the newly-launched and shiny Samsung Galaxy Note 5, cites Neurogadget.
But the Asus ZenFone 2 is rectangular and not like a floating arc like the LG G3, and it is also thicker with a thickness of 10.9 millimeters. That said, ASUS has not been shy in releasing a number of variants of the device. We reviewed the burlier $300 ZenFone 2 back in May and even if there was more bloatware than we’d normally like on a phone, we thought it provided tremendous value for the asking price.
The $200 version of the Asus ZenFone 2, which includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, already posed quite the alternative to the Moto G, which charges you $220 to get the same amount of memory capacities. It comes in two different colors of aqua blue and pink. Both use come with Gorilla Glass 4 and 13MP rear cameras, though the Selfie’s front cam is also 13MP while the Laser 2 has a standard 5MP selfie cam. It features Real-Tone flash to ensure warm skin tones and accurate colours.
The new version of Asus Zenfone 2 can be purchased in the United States for only $230 outright.
ZenFone 2 is kept alive by a 3,000 mAh battery, while running Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with ASUS’ very own custom skin on top.
Otherwise this new ZenFone 2 offers the same list of specs. It comes unlocked and ready to run on AT&T or T-Mobile.
