Asus ZenFone 3 Z010DD surfaces in GFX Bench results
Asus had unveiled the ZenFone Zoom at the CES 2015 and was available in select markets so far. The Zenfone Zoom will be the thinnest phone to accommodate a camera unit with 3x optical zoom and it promises to bring DSLR like experience on the smartphone.
The smartphone is equipped with clutter-breaking laser auto-focus of 0.03 seconds that allows the user to take pictures in a blink and 4-stop optical image stabliser (OIS) that enhances image quality.
“Powered by the 2.5GHz Intel Atom processor Z3590, the new Zenfone Zoom is a premium device that raises the bar with its revolutionary camera capabilities, high performance, stunning graphics and great battery life”, added Ramamoorthy. The innovative 10-element digital eye was created by the optics experts at Hoya.
ZenFone Zoom’s expansive 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD IPS display offers wide 178-degree viewing angles, and a fantastic 403ppi pixel density to render every image in eye-popping detail. The smartphone is priced at Rs 37,999 and there is also a bundle with ZenFlash and specially made tripod for Rs 39,999. The front snapper shapes up in the form of a 5-Megpixel sensor.
However, the ZenFone Zoom 64GB and 128GB variants are priced at CNY 2799 (Approximately Rs 28145) and CNY 3199 (Approximately Rs 32500) in China. The ASUS ZenFone Zoom features 5mm thick aluminum edges but still with a sleek form. The smartphone supports expandable storage via microSD.
The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC for connectivity.
Next up, the Asus Z012D has a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC (with a 1.7 GHz hexa-core CPU), and again 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow running things.
