Asus ZenFone Max now available for Rs 9999
The Asus ZenFone Max was announce back in August and now Asus is launching the handset in India, the device will be sold through Flipkart and Amazon.
Apart from major e-commerce sites, ZenFone Max, along with other ASUS smartphones and tablets will also be available at all offline retail stores. Today, the smartphone has finally gone on sale in India through both online and physical retailers. The company also expressed plans to expand the offline presence of its devices in India.
Asus India had 100 stores in 2015 but has been expanding to over 30,000 stores this year. The main USP of the device is its huge 5000mAh battery which can deliver up to 914 hours of standby time and up to 38 hours of talk time, in addition to working as a power bank to other devices. Notably, the battery on the handset is non-removable.
After the ASUS ZenFone Zoom, here’s another phone from the company that is surprisingly not a ZenFone. This isn’t the first smartphone that we’ve seen with a massive battery capacity though.
For example, Asus Live has been confirmed to sport a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. The handset is powered by a 1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410, which probably helps to keep the power consumption down, and is paired up with 2GB of RAM. It packs accelerometer, compass, proximity, and ambient light sensors.
The smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor along with laser autofocus technology and dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor.
