At UN, Pope rails against craving for wealth and power
Although his United Nations remarks on the environment and the economy carried a message many liberals welcomed, Francis also affirmed church doctrine on abortion and sexuality.
The world’s most famous arena, as it bills itself, became a venue for Pope Francis as thousands of Catholics, including a handful of Greenwich residents, turned Madison Square Garden in New York City into a sacred site.
