Atlanta Falcons: NFC Power Rankings, Week 10
San Francisco 49ers tight end Garrett Celek (88) celebrates after catching a touchdown pass in front of Atlanta Falcons cornerback Jalen Collins during the first half of an NFL football game in Santa Clara, Calif., Sunday, November 8, 2015.
My own thought is that we have seen the last of Colin Kaepernick as the San Francisco 49ers.
DE Vic Beasley Jr. recorded his first career interception and the team’s second forced turnover of the game when he picked off a Gabbert pass intended for tight end Vance McDonald.
“It was wonderful”, Gabbert said. “I would imagine that they all get together and kind of (make) a joint decision”, Miller said. I just wanted to go out there today and just have fun. “That was the biggest thing”.
It’s not hard to see why the 49ers are sticking with Gabbert, who filled in for the recently benched Colin Kaepernick by completing 15 of 25 passes for 185 yards, two touchdowns and two picks. Green-Beckham now has 12 catches for 181 yards on the season. “Whoever is back there, we’re going to prepare the best that we can to get another win in two weeks (Nov. 22 at Seattle)”. “We’ll have coaching and staff meetings today. So congratulations to him”.
“It was just the way that they played us”, Ryan said.
But later he informed Gabbert and Kaepernick that Gabbert would start in Seattle after the 49ers come out of their bye week.
Coach Dan Quinn said Monday that eliminating turnovers and penalties was of emphasis in practice last week.
Via Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com, Tomsula said that he’ll speak with Gabbert and Colin Kaepernick before disclosing the quarterback decision for Week 11.

No one is ready to anoint Gabbert the franchise savior, but there’s no harm in riding a little momentum in a lost season.
Here’s the paradox though: If the Niners defense is that bad (and it is), then why not go for it on 4th-and-goal from the one? We’re a really good two-minute team on offense. “It was a bit of an adjustment”.
Injury update: Starting running back Carlos Hyde (foot) and wide receiver Anquan Boldin (hamstring) missed the game. After yielding 28 sacks through eight games, the 49ers shut out the Falcons in that regard.
Credit the 49ers defense for stopping Atlanta, but there’s no fathomable reason why the Falcons’ rushing attack should have stunk like it did.
The 49ers instead deployed Tony Jerod-Eddie and Arik Armstead to relieve starters Glenn Dorsey and Quinton Dial. Having been born and raised in Georgia, I’m a Falcons fan myself and certainly felt the positive momentum. “It feels good to get a win again”.
“We’re playing methodical football”, White said. I am pleased with the progress that I have made so far, but there is still more out there for me to do.
