Attractive fall weather will start your work week
Tuesday: Increasing clouds. Showers chances increasing late in the evening.
With just a few fair weather clouds, highs will top out in the upper 50s – just a degree or two shy of the normals.
It’s a lovely and cool fall afternoon, and there’s more chill coming for the night.
Monday should see a little more sunshine early in the day but a few showers moving from south to north can’t be ruled out later on.
We’ll have another chilly night tonight with lows in the 40s.
Besides a few lingering cloudiness in our northwest counties overnight, expect mainly clear skies and seasonably cool temperatures as high pressure drives into the region. Look for what’s left of the rain to end late tonight or early Tuesday morning. The main impact for the frontal boundary pushing through the area Wednesday will be noticed with cooler morning lows Thursday and Friday.
Rain amounts will be heaviest over the Eastern Ozarks where totals between a quarter of an inch and a half an inch are possible. Showers exit by daybreak on Thursday.
Today: Mostly sunny. Highs: 58-63. Temperatures will climb in to the upper 50’s and lower 60’s. Outside of that, we’ll have mostly sunny, seasonable days and cool nights – right on through Halloween.
The rest of the state will stay dry with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s under partly cloudy skies. Sunday is a bit milder, and it’s a bit cloudier too.
