Auburn Police Blamed by Misty Upham’s Father
Late Misty Upham’s father, Mr. Charles Upham, seems to be in a state of outrage and extremely angry on the local police in Auburn for handling his daughter’s disappearance and then following the death of his daughter in an absolute negligent manner.
He is blaming the local police for this mishap of his daughter. He blamed the commander of police, Mr. Steve Stocker that he refused to change the status of his daughter into an endangered person. The police held the case of late Misty Upham as a case of disappearance and not in the profile of endangered person. The actor was dead for 11 days before her body was found.
Her father also claimed that the police should have brought in the dogs the very first day when they filed a FIR and they could have found her and she would have been alive now. The inconsolable father said that his daughter’s body is not in a decent state, which is why her body could not be shown at the funeral. His pleading and begging the police was of no avail at all. He even states that Mr. Stocker placed legal restrictions on Misty’s medical reports, and he was just helpless and could not do anything. He blames Mr. Stocker for his daughter’s unnatural and untimely death.
He is blaming Mr. Stocker for racism. He blames the police for being inactive and negligent in handling Misty’s case. He even went on to say that, the police were irresponsible, lack of sympathy and lack of humanity towards his daughter. Misty’s father told the press that he is very upset with the Auburn police department’s statements given to the media. Stocker told the NBC that the detectives did all possible means on Misty’s case. Charles, the father of the deceased, reported to the press that the detectives did not do anything, it is a cover up statement made by Stocker, and rather the friends and family members discovered Misty’s dead body.
