Audi launches Audi S5 Sportback coupe

As the festive season is around the corner, so nearly every vehicle maker is trying their level best to lure their potential customers and for that they have been launching new auto models with attractive prices, the German automaker Audi too have joined the league as recently the company has launched a brand new vehicle named as S5 Sportback in the market which is said to be priced at Rs 62, 95,000 ex-showroom Mumbai/Delhi. Further, the Audi S5 Sportback is packed with advanced infotainment systems like the Bang & Olufsen Sound System, the latest-generation navigation system: MMI Navigation plus. The S5 chooses middle ground between the sedan “A” range and the mental “RS” variants, much like the S4 and S6. The engine is coupled to a 7-speed S tronic® dual-clutch automatic transmission and a Quattro all-wheel drive system. It has a electronically limited top speed of 250Km/hr and delivers 12.3Km/L under standard testing conditions.

Accompanying the Audi RS5 Coupe in India, the 5-door Audi S5 Sportback is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 TFSI engine capable of 333 PS and 440 Nm of torque. “It brings cutting edge technology in an efficient, sporty and powerful style while ensuring an exhilarating driving experience with no compromise on fuel efficiency”. You do get strong haunches and a large gaping chrome grille sporting the S5 logo, grey wing mirrors, chunky five spoke alloy wheels and two double barrel chrome tipped exhausts. It features a leather-covered, 3-spoke, multifunction, flat-bottomed sport steering wheel, aluminium-look gearshift paddles, Alcantara upholstery and optional S sport seats in the front with S5 embossing and electric seat adjustment.

The S5 Sportback has 8 airbags which have a 2 stage deployment depending upon impact intensity and size of the person.
