Aussie DJs prank entire crowd with song no one was expecting

The duo are not the first DJs to flawless crowd trolling – take a look at a couple other examples below. Instead of a drop, the DJs chose to play the popular British love song “True” by Spandau Ballet, leaving the young crowd embarrassed and confused. The prank? Just as the drop in Timmy Trumpet and Savage’s multi-platinum hit Freaks is about to come in, Mashd N Kutcher abruptly throw in a curveball with Spandau Ballet’s feel good classic True. Womp, womp. You can hear the crowd collectively sighing in disappointment as they lower their arms in sad, drop-less defeat. Speaking to Billboard, the band said it’s happy to see their slow dance hit making a comeback in clubs.

This should happen a lot more often at clubs, we think.
