Australian batsman Chris Lynn makes ODI debut against Pakistan
The second One Day International of the five match series between Pakistan and Australia will be played at Melbourne on Sunday.
Mohammad Amir was Pakistan’s most successful bowler with three wickets for 47, after left-arm fast bowler Junaid Khan put Australia on the back foot by sending back the openers back to the pavilion.

With Australia reeling at 41/3, captain Steve Smith and Travis Head kept Pakistan at bay temporarily with a 45-run partnership before Head was caught behind off the bowling of Hasan Ali for 29.
Azhar returned to the crease late in the innings but struggled to move freely and when he was well caught in the deep by Warner for 24, Pakistan’s hopes of victory went with him. Hafeez was dropped on score of zero.
“Our bowlers really did the job for us earlier, because that was really important to restrict Australia under the score we as a batting unit could chase that”.
In its reply, Pakistan got into trouble straightaway when it lost Sharjeel Khan for 18 off 22 balls, Faulkner getting his first wicket.

Pakistan’s chase almost got off to a awful start when Mitchell Starc found the edge of stand in skipper Hafeez’s bat but the ball slipped through the usually safe hands of Smith and slammed into his groin leaving him writhing in pain as an unsympathetic bowler turned and walked back to his mark.
Asked if he thought his global career was over, Hafeez said: “To be honest it was never [that] negative in my mind, I knew I could be back in the team at any stage”.
Australia made two changes to their team that beat Pakistan on Friday.
