Avengers: Infinity War estimated to break global opening weekend record
He’s the first Marvel villain with depth and Infinity War is as much about its cast of heroes as it is Thanos’s personal conflict. After collecting over Rs 30 crore on Friday and Saturday, the film showed a good jump on Sunday and raked in Rs 32.50 crore yesterday. Almost all of the highest-grossing superhero films opened in May, June, or July.
As in North America, Infinity War set a slew of industry records overseas, including staking out the second-best global opening all time.
It is to be noted that Baaghi 2 opened in 3,500 screens, nearly twice as many as Avengers got.
