Ayesha Curry Doesn’t Particularly Care What Stephen A. Smith Has to Say
During Friday’s episode of ESPN’s “First Take”, both Smith and Skip Bayless criticized Ayesha for speaking out.
Curry is obviously happily married to his wife Ayesha, but she had no problem with the perceived glare from Rose. Curry did take to Twitter Thursday night to express various frustrations, including her father almost getting arrested ahead of tip-off.
Steph Curry’s wife Ayesha is clearly unhappy with the comparison drawn by ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith between her and LeBron James’ wife, Savannah Brinson.
“Savannah is not like that at all”, Smith said. “Something I don’t understand or stand for”.
Her husband’s team, the Golden State Warriors, lost 115-101 to the Cleveland Cavaliers, James’ team, during Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
“But the last two fouls I didn’t think I fouled either Kyrie [Irving] or LeBron”.
Smith has weighed in on Ayesha Curry’s thoughts on the National Basketball Association being rigged. Game 7, Sunday night, will be the most legacy-defining game of his career, and many have already begun to paint it at as the Steph-versus-LeBron epic of our time.
Amazingly, this morning the Sports Pickle predicted Ayesha Curry and Stephen A. Smith would make excellent First Take co-hosts.
Ayesha Curry, on the other hand, continues not to give a flying you-know-what about Smith’s opinion, which is a position we can all get behind.
Following the suspenseful Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday (June 16), many spectators reacted with their honest feelings about what they just witnessed, including Ayesha Curry. That’s just kind of my perception of the plays and I had a reaction to it. “As lovely as everyone wants to say Ayesha Curry is, and she is, Savannah is something special”. “That’s a highly incendiary remark”, said Smith.
On the subject of Mrs. Curry’s spiel on Twitter, Steph backed his wife’s statements.
