Baby believed kidnapped near Los Angeles is found safe
An Amber Alert has been issued in Los Angeles, California for Penelope Rodriguez, a 13-month-old little girl that was last seen at a motel in Palmdale at approximately 3 a.m. Saturday morning. The girl appeared to be unharmed, he said.
Instead, they identified a man in a blue Ford Contour as the suspect.
A neighbor was also found to be looking into the sound of crying coming from the shed, the sheriff’s statement said.
Deputies pulled over a auto and detained the man suspected of taking the child, who was apparently not the man named in the Amber Alert. Both were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and booked at the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station. Detectives later found that Holmes was not actually involved in the incident.

He said Holmes and the baby’s mother knew each other but provided no further details.
