Baby’s body found behind Heidi’s Motel in Brewster

A Bronx man is charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter after police say he killed his infant son and dumped the body upstate.

WABC in NY reported the baby’s mother walked in shortly after the baby was killed. When the mother came out to see what happened, she said Feliciano threatened to kill her, as well.

When the dad couldn’t get the boy to stop crying, he first pressed a pillow to the baby’s face, cops said.

The couple may have stayed at Heidi’s Inn on Route 22 in Southeast.

Their efforts to cover up their frightful deed began to unravel when the guilt-stricken mother attempted suicide Thursday by overdosing on pills.

Bob Stadler of Brewster said he observed “a lot of police activity around the motel on Friday afternoon and again on Saturday morning: “I thought it was kind of unusual since at least five New York City Police cars parked on the motel property”.

Prior to the discovery of the boy’s body, Feliciano called White, telling him his sister was missing, and that the baby had died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

Reiterated the heart broken brother: ‘She was in an abusive relationship and didn’t tell me.

Baby Mason’s mother remains at hospital undergoing a psychiatric evaluation. “That’s a tragic thing for a teacher – especially somebody who’s dealing with kids”, she said.
