Baby Strollers, Seats Recalled
In total, about 71,000 strollers are being recalled. UPPAbaby has received 22 reports of children biting off pieces of the bumper bar, but no reports of injuries, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Anyone impacted by the recall can contact UPPAbaby to receive a free bumper bar cover.
A federal agency is recalling UPPAbaby strollers and rumble seats, saying they pose a choking hazard when a child bites the bumper bar and removes a piece of the foam covering.
The recall covers 2015 models of the Cruz stroller (about $500), Vista stroller (about $860) and RumbleSeat (about $170).
