Back-In-Training Sturridge Is Good To Go
Liverpool face three games in eight days, starting with the visit of Claudio Ranieri’s trailblazers, needing to make up ground after picking only one point from the last nine on offer.
Daniel Sturridge has suggested he could play a part in Liverpool’s game on Monday at Sunderland by tweeting that he’s “good to go”.
Klopp added that the fixture schedule in domestic football had also contributed to the recent struggles of English clubs in the Champions League. So, in typical Klopp fashion, he’s thinking outside the box, and treating this busy holiday season as a mini pre-season for the injury prone England worldwide.
Klopp said: “Martin Skrtel is not too good, you know about it, he has hamstring and tendon problems”. Usually, everbody would say: “Play”. Then next week we have the same problem again.
As shared by Andy Kelly of the Liverpool Echo, the youngster seemed to injure his hamstring during the first half of Liverpool’s Premier League match against Leicester City, and he was eventually replaced by compatriot Christian Benteke.
“There is always pressure, there is always the next game, it is always hard”.
“Everything has been tried in the past, now we do something different”.
“Now Dejan has not a had a long break, he was in flawless shape before he left now we have to see what will happen”.
Hopefully the new strategy works, and we’ll be dancing along with a goal-scoring Sturridge in the new year.
