Backwards compatibility to double free games for
Headlining the selection on Microsoft’s Xbox One is NeocoreGames’ The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing that will become available first on December 1. Later in the month, 2014’s Thief (which was free on Xbox 360 back in May) joins in from December 16 through January 15.
Since it is Xmas, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising will also be available free of charge between 16th – 31st December. Microsoft has again lifted the curtain on the games we can expect to nab for free during the month of December and there’s plenty to get excited about. Xbox 360 games are yours to keep, download, and play at your convenience, as though you’d purchased them, as long as you add them to your account while they’re part of the program.
The first game coming to Xbox 360 in December is CastleStorm.

Just click the game icon that you want to play and it should be downloaded to your Xbox One. For standard Xbox One controllers, Microsoft is also rolling out special and limited edition versions, which take inspiration from games like “Halo 5: Guardians”, “Covert Forces” and “Forza 6”.
