Backwards Compatible EA Games Coming To EA Access On Xbox One
While it will appeal to a lot of Xbox 360 owners, I just wonder how many people will actually use the new backwards compatibility feature of the Xbox One? The feature will become available for everyone in a few months and the full list of titles that will be compatible is rapidly expanding.
Xbox One Backwards Compatibility is available now for Xbox Preview members and will launch later this year for everyone else. The Xbox 360 version of the game developed by Platinum Games is still considered as the best version so this is really good news indeed for all fans of action games. Leave a comment and let us know! By paying that amount on a yearly basis, Xbox One owners can play all the games in the vault for as long as they want.
Bayonetta has also received a sequel past year. I applaud Microsoft for spending the time and money to make it happen, and hopefully it will spur Sony into making changes to it’s PlayStation Now service, which at the moment is a non-starter. As the game would have not existed without Nintendo, as revealed by producer Atsushi Inaba, there’s practically no chance of the game getting released on other platforms.
The move wouldn’t offer the same added value as Microsoft’s own backwards compatibility scheme, which will roll out later this year. In addition to exclusive trials and discounts, the subscription service now provides access to thirteen games, with Dragon Age: Inquisition and Titanfall being the latest additions to the Vault. I mean £2.99 or £4.99 to basically rent an old PlayStation 3 game for two days is scandalous.
