The ground attack was improved, but still fell short of 200 yards. Stave had three completions of 30 yards or more on the day and Wisconsin rolled up 401 yards of total offense-199 on the ground and 202 in the air.

With the win, Wisconsin became the eighth program from one of the five power conferences with 100 victories since 2005.
