Bajrangi Bhaijaan rocks Bollywood
Yeah, there were hits in this year, but Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan have thrown everything aside and took the high seat. The Kabir Khan directorial deals with a mute Pakistani child, who is lost in India, and how Salman’s eponymous character crosses borders to take her to her parents in Pakistan. “His earlier single-day collection record was for Ek Tha Tiger of over Rs 32 crore (sic)”, confirmed trade analyst Adarsh on Twitter.
The 49-year-old actor said that while Bajrangi Bhaijaan does have action to some extent, it is all heart.

Salman Khan’s much talked film Bajrangi Bhaijaan is no where in competition with anyone now, as the film is treading towards a success at the Box Office. And Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the latest Khan starrer, continues the tradition. The film’s release comes at a time when the leaders of India and Pakistan have agreed to meet soon and resume dialogue. For Salman fans, this is not exactly a disappointment – they will just get to see him in a slightly different light which is good.
Director Kabir Khan is happy and content that the audience has been able emotionally connect with the film.
Produced by Salman Khan and distributed by Eros global, the film has done a net collection of staggering Rs 27.25 crore (Rs 272.5 million) on its release day, 17 July.
The movie, which also stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, is set in 1980s Gujarat, telling the story of a bootlegger, whose business is thwarted by a tough policeman. Salman has once again established his continued dominance over the Hindi film market and the film looks unstoppable.
