Ballroom baby on the way for DWTS pros Maks and Peta

“The timing is ideal, actually”, Murgatroyd admitted.

Just enough time for baby Chmergatroyd to nail down the fundamentals of the foxtrot, ballroom and ballet.

Maks has posted their first sonogram photo of baby Chmerkovskiy on his Instagram and it is adorable.

It’s been rumored for over a month, but now it’s confirmed.

The dancing pros got engaged in December 2015, and have been dating on and off for three years. “Funny thing is, they’ve been trying to get pregnant even before they were engaged”. She is now in her second trimester, but you certainly can’t tell as she has quite a small baby bump as seen in the sweet snapshot of Maks either trying to plant a kiss on her growing belly or maybe talking to his child.

News first broke of Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd’s pregnancy during the week of the latest Dancing With the Stars finale, but the pros officially confirmed that they will be parents in a new interview. “I’m looking forward to nurturing something and just having the baby be the center of our world”, Peta explains. “I’m looking forward to putting all our energy into this lovely soul”, his fiancee added.

While the gender of their baby has not yet been determined, Chmerkovskiy joked that “we’ll be in trouble with a little me running around. A wonderful, tiny addition”.

Chmerkovskiy talked about his upcoming wedding when ET caught up with him and his younger brother, Val Chmerkovskiy, earlier this month at a rehearsal for their Maks & Val Live on Tour: Our Way.
