Barack Obama officially endorses Hillary Clinton
Hillary Clinton finally got the endorsement she needs most, and it wasn’t from President Obama. And, I think the facts really speak for themselves. “Yes I do”, Elizabeth said during her interview when asked directly if she felt she was ready to be Vice President.
“She’s a fighter, she’s out there, she’s tough”.
Clinton turned over some 30,000 emails to State Department officials after she stepped down from the job in 2013.

Obama will campaign with Clinton next week in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
“Donald Trump would clearly, to my mind, and I think to the majority of Americans, be a disaster as president of the United States”, he said.
Obama’s endorsement increases pressure on Clinton’s only opponent for the party’s nomination, Bernie Sanders, to bow out of the race and lend his support so the party can focus on defeating Donald Trump. The White House said Sanders requested the meeting.
She is. The bigger question is whether she can be the principled, uncompromising progressive worshipped by the party’s left wing and do what needs to be done for Clinton as a vice presidential candidate – and, if Clinton wins, as vice president.
While President Obama tried to maintain impartiality during the primary season, in his final White House Correspondent’s Dinner speech, Obama joked that this time next year someone else would be standing there in his place and it was anyone’s guess who “she” would be. “And I can’t wait to get out there and campaign with Hillary”.
Sanders said he would compete in a primary in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday and would continue to push issues central to his campaign until the Democratic convention in July.
On Tuesday Mrs Clinton secured enough delegates to become the Democratic nominee.
The Sanders aide also described the discussions so far between their campaign and Clinton’s as “positive”.
Washington will hold its primary election on June 14.
CBS2’s Dick Brennan reported the president made a decision to leave any questions to White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest.
Clinton told Reuters: “It is absolutely a joy and an honor that President Obama and I over the years have gone from fierce competitors to true friends”.
Obama has competition in courting Sanders supporters. “That’s why I know Hillary will be so good at it”, Obama said. “He pushed the party and challenged them”, he said.
Obama’s testimonial came less than an hour after the president met privately with Sanders at the White House to discuss the future of Sanders so-called political revolution – one that will not include him taking up residence at the White House.
Sanders will meet with Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, a Democrat, in the afternoon.
By contrast, Obama is still one of the country’s most popular politicians. The contest between Clinton and Sanders may have divided the party along new lines, in other words, but Obama looks very well-positioned to stitch it back together.
“Bernie’s going to do the right thing”, Grijalva said.
Trump, who’s known for his brash voice on social media, has 8.76 million followers to Clinton’s 6.6 million. On Thursday, she offered a blistering attack on the presumptive Republican nominee, Donald Trump.
“We have a lot that we believe is in the best interests of our country”, Clinton said, “and I’m looking forward to working with him during the campaign and then on after the inauguration”. The Democratic Party will officially choose its nominee at the convention. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly about the layoffs.
“But you all know it is more than Bernie Sanders”. On Thursday, though, the Democratic Party’s top players got to work.
