But the rest of his game has grown and we believe he will make an impact on the field for us.

It was a tough adjustment for the 32-year-old – and something he admitted himself – having been so used to being an important player in both his club and national team setups.

And Germany manager Low says, judging by his analysis, United could have used Schweinsteiger’s expertise this year. A real shame that we didn’t see his best.
